Overview
What is Tulip Fulfillment?
Tulip Fulfillment is a simple app you can deploy in your stores to manage the logistics of pick-in-store, curbside-pickup, and ship from store. It is delivered in the form of a simple, mobile-friendly application for stores and store associates in an easy-to-use modern User Interface that guides store associates step by step through the picking and fulfillment process.
Tulip Fulfillment can be used to support store to:
- Enable Buy Online, Pick up In Store (BOPIS)
- Enable Buy Online, Reserve in Store (BORIS)
- Enable Buy Online, Ship from Store (SFS and micro fulfillment)
For retailers that were previously using spreadsheets or emails to tell stores what orders to pick, Tuilp Fufillment is the best way to quickly unlock the value of stores, store associates, and store-inventory.
What features does it offer?
Out of the box, Tulip Fulfillment has the following Features
- An order dashboard for stores to view new orders
- Manage orders through various states from “New Order”, to “In Progress”, to “Delivered to Customer” and others, guiding store associates through the steps
- An easy to use Pick Screen that tells an associate, in order, which items to grab from the shelves.
- The ability to pick items in an order manually
- The ability to scan items in an order using barcodes (with built in integration to standard barcode readers, or a mobile-device’s camera)
- The ability to manage orders for delivery to home, hold for pickup, and curbside pickup, all in one place
- When used to ship orders to home, the tool allows a store associate to select a carrier and print a shipping label (with built-in rate shopping)
- When used for curbside pickup orders, Tulip Fulfillment supports:
- Notifying the customer when their order is ready for pickup
- Forms to allow the retailer to ask the customer questions like “what is the color of your car and when are you expecting to arrive”
- Allowing a customer to notify the store when they have arrived in their car or in person
- Forms to allow the customer to sign for the order or provide ID if needed
Limitations
Tulip Fulfillment is not (yet) an OMS with routing capabilities. As such it doesn’t route orders to a particular store. The retailer must have a way to send an order to a particular store (by specifying the store ID when submitting the order).
Tulip Fulfillment UI is currently only in the English language.
