Overview: Oversee your store operations with a bird’s eye view & runner statistics

Create requests as a manager

Managers can create runner requests the same way Associates do by tapping the Request for Runnerbutton from a product information page.

Bird’s eye view of runner operations

Managers can see all Open, In-Progress, and Completed runner requests across all Runners & Associates. In addition, Managers can also nudge Runners through the detailed view of an Open request if they notice that requests are taking too long.

Runner statistics

Average Run Timer: How long does a run request take?

  • Average run time is calculated from the moment an Associate sends a request, and includes the time taken to accept, find, and deliver the request.

Run Success Rate: How accurate is your inventory in-store?

  • Research suggests that in-store inventory is accurate approximately 65% of the time.
  • A Run Success Rate above this 65% benchmark would mean that inventory accuracy is above average.
  • Industry standards suggest that  the time it takes to resolve a runner request should be taken into account as well as the Run Success Rate.
  • Therefore, healthy inventory should be able provide a resolution quickly, and ideally within the retailer’s goal time (i.e., less than 5 minutes).

Top Requested: What items are requested most frequently in-store?

  • This is an engagement metric that can inform store, inventory and backroom planning. The higher the number of requests in total indicates strong Runner App usage.

Top Unsuccessful Requests: What top requested items were not resolved in-store?

  • Item runner requests that are unsuccessful more than 35% of the time indicates below average inventory. This metric can inform store, inventory, and backroom planning.

Configure drop-off locations as a manager

Managers can create, modify, and delete drop-off locations that the Associates can choose from when creating a runner request.

Keeping destinations up-to-date is especially helpful for when store floor areas change. Managers can easily change Destinations to match the new layout, so requests go to the correct location in-store.
