What's new in Tulip Runner app

Automated recurring releases

The Runner pipeline now matches the Distribution pipeline:

  1. A scheduled (bi-weekly) pod update is run that produces a merge request with the changes.
  2. After the merge request is accepted and merged, a manual step to tag master can be run.
  3. Tagging master will then invoke the existing submission.

Clients that have their own Catalog App can now request a Runner for multiple products at a time.

Tulip’s Runner App now supports the ability for store associates to make multiple product requests at a time to be delivered to a specific location in-store.

When a multi-product request is submitted through a product catalog, store associates are redirected to the Runner App and presented with an option to select the destination, preview the list of requested items, and add optional notes for backroom associates.

Each requested item appears as a new individual Runner request. Backroom associates can claim any item from a multi-product request. Backroom associates fulfilling a multi-product request follow the same Runner workflow as a single product request.

Store associates can choose to resend failed or unclaimed requests at any time.
