System Requirements of Tulip Apps

Tulip apps are designed to run on Apple’s latest mobile operating systems (OS): iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS. The apps are compatible with the latest version and the most recent previous version.

Note: Apple uses a three-part numbering system to indicate OS versions. When we say version, we are referring to the major version number, which is the first part of the three parts. Let’s say the latest version number is X.Y.Z, where each letter represents a number. We refer to the version by the number represented by X only.

For example, if the latest version is iOS 19, Tulip apps will be compatible with iOS 19 and 18.

Support for legacy OS: When a new OS version gets released, the earliest version Tulip supported before the release will continue to be supported for up to 90 days. For example, if iPadOS 19 is the latest and released on January 1, Tulip will continue to support iPadOS 17 until March 31.

Tulip strongly encourages retailers to keep their devices up-to-date with the latest OS versions to ensure they have the latest security updates. Contact your Tulip representative if you have concerns regarding Tulip’s support of your Apple devices or OS versions.
